The Elizabethtown Borough Parks and Recreation in Elizabethtown PA maintains two parks: Community Park and Hickory Lane Park.

Community Park features basketball courts, the Fun Fort, numerous swings and other playground equipment for children, an amphitheater, and baseball field. Community Park has four pavilions equipped with grills and electricity that may be rented from the Borough for a small fee.
 

Hickory Lane Park is a passive recreational park in a beautiful natural setting.

Greater Elizabethtown Area Recreation Services (GEARS)

The Elizabethtown Area Recreation Commission and the Elizabethtown Area Community Services Authority merged to form the Greater Elizabethtown Area Recreation Services (GEARS). GEARS has a plethora of activities to satisfy any member of the community. Each year, GEARS schedules trips to various locations, and it runs several basketball, softball, and other sports leagues. GEARS also runs the Elizabethtown Area Senior Center and the GEARS Kids Center. For more information on the services available through the Senior Center, please call 367-7984.
