The Town of Newburgh NY Town Clerks office is the gateway to your Town government! It is our duty and pleasure to assist in responding to any and all inquiries regarding our government, and to maintain the friendly face which helps make the Town of Newburgh the best place to live and work. We are charged with the duty of keeping all of the official records for the Town. The minutes of our Town Board meetings are taken, transcribed, and filed by our office. We also keep on file the minutes of the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals, and serve as the depository for all Town documents. Our Town Clerks office issues licenses for residents of the Town of Newburgh. Your dog license, marriage license, hunting and fishing license, special parking permit, peddlers license, birth and death certificates, genealogical records, games of chance permits, and road opening permits are available from your Town Clerk. We have available for sale the Town of Newburgh Municipal Code, in whole or part, zoning law books, zoning and election maps, and street maps of the Town. We distribute "Welcome" packets to our new residents and have on hand a wide array of tourist information for visitors to our area. All Notary Public services are available from our Town Clerk.
