The Office of Community Wealth Building in Richmond, VA is tasked with implementing an integrated, comprehensive strategy to reduce the City's poverty rate, expand educational and economic opportunities for low-income City residents, and improve quality-of-life in low-income neighborhoods. Their goal is to create a Richmond in which every resident has access to a good job, adequate preparation to succeed in that job, access to a good school, access to a safe community with good amenities, and access to mobility.
