North Huntingdon Township is a growing suburban community and an excellent location to live and work with a high quality of life.  Residing within Westmoreland County, the cost of living and taxes are moderate compared to surrounding municipalities and counties.  We are located within easy commuting distance (less than 20 miles and a 35 minute trip) to Pittsburgh.  The Laurel Mountains are less than an hour drive to the east.  The Pennsylvania Turnpike runs through the east edge of the Township with a turnpike interchange located within the community.  State Route 30 runs east and west through the middle of the Township.
