Henrico County L. Douglas Wilder Middle School
L. Douglas Wilder Middle School, located in the Fairfield District, opened in 1997 and serves 6th, 7th, and 8th grade middle school students. The school is named after L. Douglas Wilder, the first African-American to be elected governor in the United States, and Virginia’s 66th governor.
