Circuit Court Clerk - Notary Public Applications

   Applications to become a notary public are available in the Clerk's Office or via the mail. Written requests for applications should be mailed to the Circuit Court Clerk's Office and should include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
    Applications are also available through the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth at the following site:  
    In order to pick up the finalized notary commission at the Chesterfield Circuit Court Clerk's Office, applicants must indicate this preference on the application.
    Completed applications should be mailed to the Secretary of the Commonwealth with a check or money order in the amount of $45 payable to the Treasurer of Virginia.
