Planning Board  

The Planning Board reviews site plans, special use permits, and subdivision applications to ensure projects meet town code. The Board’s goal is to support Gardiner’s orderly growth by balancing residential, commercial, and industrial development.

Planning and zoning are overseen by two appointed boards: the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA). The Planning Board works with a professional planning consultant, while the Building Inspector, who also serves as the Code Enforcement Officer, helps applicants understand the Town’s Zoning Law.
