Fire-Kripplebush-Lyonsville Fire Company (non-emergency)
The Kripplebush-Lyonsville Fire Department in Stone Ridge NY was founded in 1952 by a group of area residents after a fire destroyed a local residence. The Department is formed by the Fire Company, which provides the manpower and owns the fire station and the Fire District, which owns all the apparatus and fire fighting equipment. The Fire District is governed by an publicly elected Board of Commissioners.
