The Monroeville Police Department has a police force of 44 officers answers approximately 16,000 service calls per year. The force includes a Special Operations Division which includes a Criminal Investigations (Detective) Division and Patrol Division which includes a K-9 Unit.  The Monroeville Police Department is proud to announce a new online non-emergency reporting system in partnership with Crimewatch.

The Monroeville Police Department consists of one Chief of Police, several lieutenants, sergeants and corporals, in addition to patrolmen.
