Lower Burrell Volunteer Fire Department # 1 is one of 2 stations that protect the City of Lower Burrell, the other is Lower Burrell # 3 (Bon Air).  Our department also provides mutual aid to Plum Boro, Washington Township and Upper Burrell Twp.  The Lower Burrell VFD #1 runs 2 engines, 1 heavy rescue, 1 brush truck, 1 squad & 1 command vehicle out of #1 station located in the Kinlock section of Lower Burrell.
