The office of Information Technology provides a multitude of services to the Town of New Windsor NY. The department is responsible for 100+ workstations, a group of 15 servers, and all peripheral equipment throughout the Town of New Windsor. Personnel maintain 24x7 emergency coverage for the Town of New Windsor Police Department. The department also is responsible for the towns phone systems - cellular and internal PBX.

Starting in 2009 the Information Technology Department started providing Information Technology support for neighboring towns.  These towns include the Town of Chester, Town of Montgomery, Town of Cornwall, Town of Crawford, Town of Tuxedo, Village of Harriman Police, Village of Woodbury Police, Village of Monroe Police, and Village of Cornwall on Hudson.
