Pittsburgh Colfax K-8 School is a neighborhood school nestled in the heart of the Squirrel Hill community. Colfax serves students living in parts of Squirrel Hill, East Hills, Homewood, Shadyside, and Point Breeze. In addition to a comprehensive academic core program, Pittsburgh Colfax is also an on-site gifted-model school where gifted and talented students receive gifted education through both push in and pull out instruction by two full-time gifted teachers.
