Henrico County Douglas S. Freeman High School
Freeman High School, located in the Tuckahoe District, opened in 1954. It is named after Dr. Douglas Southall Freeman, a wellknown newspaper editor, historian, and Pulitzer Prize winning author. It serves students in ninth through twelfth grade.
