The Town of Wappinger Highway Department is responsible for maintaining approximately one hundred miles of Town road and interface with the Dutchess County Department of Public Works to maintain twenty one miles of County road and ten miles of NYS roads.

These services include roadside storm water and drainage repairs, snowplowing, sanding/salting of the roads, asphalt patching and paving, street sweeping and roadside tree maintenance.
