The Commission consists of 11 members, 8 of which must be residents of the city, all of whom are appointed by the mayor with consent of Council. The Commission is vested with the authority to administer and enforce the anti-discrimination ordinance of the City of York and may initiate, receive, investigate, and adjudicate complaints charging unlawful discriminatory practices.
