The South Lebanon Township PA Property Maintenance Department provides professional code enforcement services with the goal of eliminating blight and ensuring the health, safety and welfare of South Lebanon Township. It takes a proactive approach to code enforcement and its main programs are Inspections and Nuisance Abatement. The programs are designed to ensure compliance with South Lebanon Township’s Property Maintenance and Nuisance codes.

Copies of the Property Maintenance Code are available at the Township for $11.25.

Mission Statement

The Property Maintenance Division is dedicated to providing efficient quality services to enhance the quality of life in South Lebanon Township, by fairly and equally enforcing the township’s codes to ensure the health, safety and welfare of our community.

Activities

Property Maintenance enforces code violations on private property, which focuses on the following categories:

Weeds and rank growth of vegetation (over 6 inches)

Accumulation of trash, debris, rubbish or refuse

Mandatory trash collection

Vehicles - unlicensed, junk or elevated

Disease or breeding of insects or vermin 

Surfacing sewage

Substandard housing (utilities that have been disconnected or otherwise shut off; lack of heat and/or hot water; broken windows; rodent/and/or insect infestation)

Dangerous buildings (due to structural, electrical, mechanical issues)
